International Children's Book Day 02 April 2022.

First celebrated in 1967, International children's book day is held 02 April every year to promote children's reading and books.

Organised by IBBY ( The International Board on Books for Young People).

The date of this event (02 April) signifies the birthday of "Hans Christian Andersen" the renowned Danish Author responsible for such well known series - The  Little Mermaid, The ugly duckling, The emperor's new clothes.

In 2022 Canada is hosting International children's book day with theme - Stories are the wings that help your soa energy..

With this theme all the students are invited to share one story you have read from the books issued from library or tell few lines about the favourite book you have read.
